She cleans up nicely, but she’s still a hardcore masochist at heart.
Episode 4 of Season 2 of Konosuba begins with Aqua being scolded for trying to burn Kazuma’s tracksuit, again I might add, since that little party at the end of the last episode left them poor. That’s when Darkness shows up looking adorable and explains that she’s been away trying to get out of an arranged marriage with the son of Alderp, the lord who screwed Kazuma over in Episode 1. She wants them to do something to help her get out of it, but Kazuma sees it as an opportunity to get rid of her and sends Megumin away to stop her from interfering.
So, playing the role of butler and maid, Kazuma and Aqua accompany Darkness as she meets with Walther and stops her attempts at ruining the meeting. Surprisingly, Walther is good by everyone else’s standards and is legitimately a decent guy. However, Darkness is a hardcore masochist and thus prefers Kazuma to a nice guy.
Still, he does his best by using his magic to punish her whenever she goes over the line… which only serves as a reward for her all things considered. Then she frames it so that she and Kazuma are in a relationship of sorts, just to try and get a rise out of him. Yet, somehow, despite her best efforts, Walther still falls for her.
So Kazuma ends up fighting against Darkness and he plays dirty, which only further sullies his name. They then make a wager to where the loser will do what the winner wants and Kazuma frames it so that he’d do the most despicable things to her, which turns her on so much she basically has an orgasm and throws the match in anticipation. Needless to say, it makes for an awkward sight when her father walks in and finds her wet and passed out.
Fortunately for Kazuma, he doesn’t end up getting his head cut off. Unfortunately for him, since it clear he can make her happy in a way they couldn’t, Walther and her father basically give Kazuma their blessing to marry Darkness after she claims she’s pregnant with his child.
The episode then ends with Kazuma being called once more into action for what looks to be another monster vanquishing quest.
So this episode was mostly focused on Darkness and the fact that she cleans up really hot on the surface, but her fetishes are so deep that only Kazuma can understand and satisfy them. At the same time, we got some of her backstory and developed her character. Though, one thing I couldn’t help but notice was the boobs of the women in this episode.
Namely they were excessive in size, shape, and jiggle. Even by Konosuba standards.
